Which requests became part of the roadmap 2020

We picked up 3 suggestions from our community but also have to dismiss 3 proposals. These are the reasons why we did so.

  1. Leaderboards showing characters and their power values.
  2. Overall price history with the option to filter by time.
  3. Selling characters with equipment.
  4. Warning on the screen that putting a character up for sale removes the equipment.
  5. The option of playing in fullscreen mode?
  6. Provide recovery seed words in the account information pdf generated with the creation of a new account.

1. Leaderboards showing characters and their power values

Leaderboards are valuable. There is no need to argue against it. We had already discussed a feature to implement leaderboards at an earlier stage but postponed it because there were so many other features on our list we thought to be more essential. Especially in the first months of a game, there does not seem to be a real purpose for a leaderboard because most players will have roughly made the same progress.

Nevertheless, because this feature seems to be important for our fan base we reevaluated our plan. Even though the importance of a leaderboard for the game itself is not that high, we are willing to develop this feature in the near future.

2. Overall price history with the option to filter by time

To make trading in LiteBringer as comfortable and intuitive as possible adding a filter is one of our main goals. Therefore, we are glad to see that our community has the same view as we do.

Comparing the prices of resources or characters is not the issue. It is when it comes to the prices of equipment that this gets incredibly difficult.

For instance, even though two items have the same skill set, they can have 15 different rarities. This would make an automated comparison very complex. Besides, there is the additional option to trade in bundles. We would not only have to compare the prices of all single sale options but also when a piece of equipment is sold together with others in a bundle.

Overall, we like the idea, but it will require a lot of time and effort for planning and testing. Therefore, this feature will definitely not be released in 2020 but is nevertheless on our agenda.

3. Selling characters with equipment

This was a feature we had in our prototypes. Unfortunately, it would make comparing prices and finding a suitable offer even more complex than what it is right now. In addition, programming an overall price history would then turn out to be even harder if not impossible. It is because we like the option of adding a filter to compare prices that we will not add this proposal to our road map.

4. Warning on the screen that putting a character up for sale removes the equipment

This sounds reasonable. We will do that.

5. The option of playing in full screen mode

We have to reject this proposal. We do not have a “responsive” UI. So, unlike responsive websites, which can adjust to mobile devices our client cannot deal with different screen ratios. To include an option to play in full screen would require a complete rework of the UI and all artworks to display them in a higher resolution in a pleasant way.

This is not an impossible job but so time consuming that it would get in the way of a huge amount of other features, which could be done in that time.

6. Provide recovery seed words in the account information pdf generated with the creation of a new account

LiteBringer uses single address wallets because all game transactions have to be clearly associated with an account/wallet. Seed words simply do not exist here.

What we can do to minimize the risk of losing an account is writing the key unencrypted in the account information pdf file and add the password.
